Tommy Kodel is an award winning, Grammy and Dove considered, Christ-Centered hip-hop artist from Norwalk, CT, who now resides in Nashville, TN. His music career was birthed while he was co-leading a monthly outreach ministry called Holy Smoke Hangout, which showcased gospel rap as a way to reach the youth. During this time, he had a series of dreams about being next on stage to perform, but not having any lyrics. Tommy took this as a sign from God, which re-ignited his desire to spread the gospel through rap.

A hobby that started as one or two tracks eventually turned into a whole album. In 2020, Tommy dropped His first debut album, The Unveiling. Then, he connected with kingdom DJ, and producer, Calvin Cooper to drop his second collaborative album, Kingdom Biz in 2025. Together, Tommy and Calvin have performed nation-wide and have won numerous Prayze Factor Awards including: 2024 Holy Hip-Hop Artist of the Year, 2024 Producer of the Year, 2025 Holy Hip-Hop Song with with a feature artist (Austin Carr). Together, they were both Grammy Considered for Best Gospel Album in 2025 (Kingdom Biz) and Dove Considered for Rap/Hip-Hop Song of the Year in 2026 (He's the Way), and Rap/Hip-Hop album of the Year in 2026 (Kingdom Biz).
